AC 40083 Fuel Pump !!       This is an
Original AC Fuel Pump Magnesium Base
that we have stamped the
40083 Part Number with 3/32" (.090) Characters on the SIDE of the Mounting Base---NOT to be confused with ANY REPLACEMENT fuel pumps with 1/16" (.060) characters.       This ORIGINAL AC Magnesium Base, Fuel Section, and Cast 4-Screw AC Pulsator Cover were Hand Washed--NOT Blasted, and is then assembled with NEW AC-Delphi Components for like NEW reliability and Warranty !!         This Part Number 40083 is IMPOSSIBLE to find as it was a THREE YEAR ONLY application on the Corvette 350, 365, and 375 Horsepower Engines ONLY.    The Magnesium Bases get so corroded that most of them are worthless--these are very nice, non-corroded units and will give good service and reliability.
We will also include @ NO CHARGE a Stamped Steel/Gold Iridate Plated Pulsator Cover for those 'Judged' applications that the buyer wishes to use the Stamped Steel Cover rather than what our Experience shows was the Cast Magnesium Cover--Buyer may install either cover per their wishes/??
