MINIATURE MIRROR
Just like a Ladies  -    full size  -  Hand Held Vanity Mirror
Approx. Measurements:   4"  Long    x    2”  Diameter of frame of mirror
The
Sterling Organ Company
was founded in 1845 in Birmingham (now downtown derby), Connecticut by Charles Sterling
The company added pianos to their line in 1860
STERLING PIANOS
NOTE:
The metal
composition of the mirror frame is brass ( A magnet wont stick )
The surface has a gold like wash thats worn in spots exposing a dull brass surface
beneath
The frame has an ornate raised relief surface throughout the back side with
STERLING PIANOS
engraved in the center
The overall condition is good considering its age
lovely with a nice old patina.......
The mirror has a
beveled edge with a few
minor scratches
The inside handle has a dimple / ding and the very
end of the handle has a hole which
I presume was from the manufactures mold
Any details I
describe
are Not bad or offensive looking,  I just mention for Accuracy
