    Description

    This is an original antique dovetail (circa 1900) wood store display shipping crate with the original colorful paper labels on the front of the crate and inside the lid (J.S. Ivins' Son Steam Bakery~ Crackers Cakes & Biscuits).
    Printed on the side of the crate in faint letters is "J.S. Sivins’ Son Steam Bakery ".
    The crate is in very good condition overall, considering age. There is typical age-related wear to the box and labels and small pieces of the labels are missing.   The hardware is unique along with the small wooden “lock”.
    Also, there is some writing on the top of the lid, so please take a look at the pictures for the details.
    The box has some minor cracks and chips along the edges, but no major damage and the entire piece is still solid and sturdy.  Also, the box is a dovetail box.
    The box measures 18" L x 14" W x 11" H.
