This recently discvr'd early 20th c American antique Arm & Hammer Brand (Baking) Soda wood box advertising crate, is 100% untouched & not varnished or otherwise tampered with. It's offered exactly how it was found, less some of the dust & debris that was prev inside the box. It was found in an unheated pantry of an old home here in southern NH. It has a nat dry, matte wood finish & wasn't prev lacquered to reinforce the front paper label or to enhance the orig blk ink of the graphic iconography found on the stamped sidewalls. This is now a nearly, if not, 100 yr old wood box crate & fairly early ex of American mercantile advertising. It was produced after the turn of the cent by Church & Co., NY & as we all now know, became fantastically popular, a veritable household name & familiar to all Americans from coast to coast. Absolutely terrific
