Beautiful Maitland-Smith Wood & Metal Box Decorated With Feathered Design & Legs

This auction is for a wonderful Maitland-Smith decorative wood and metal box predominately designed with feathers as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The condition is very nice, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or corrosion issues or repairs. The box appears to be wood but shellacked or coated with real feathers. The lid of the box has a gold metal colored feather handle. The box has 4 gold metal colored legs which are screwed on metal feathers. The bottom of the box underside is marked: Maitland-Smith Hand Made In Philippines. It is a beautiful lidded box that would look great in anyone’s decorative art collection. The box with lid measures around 5 1/2 inches tall by just shy of 7 inches long from tip of one leg to the other. The box is about 4 and three-quarter inches wide from tip of one leg to another. Without the lid, the box stands just over 4 inches tall by 6 inches long by 4 inches wide. Please review all pictures carefully as they constitute part of the description.
Due to the amount of increasing claims going unpaid- I will now be forwarding the upaid item cases to Ebay within 2 days after auction end and yes it is allowed!!  For those of you who pay on time don’t take this personally. Contact me if you know you will have a reason to delay payment.  No buyers from S. Korea or Brazil please- too many people not paying or following through with the transactions.

The shipping amount listed on this auction is only an estimate and the actual amount may be higher or lower than what is listed based on the size of the package and where you live.  I don't prebox and weigh the items ahead of time.  Also I charge a handling fee for bubble wrap and peanuts, etc. and it also covers insurance depending on how much is needed and this is reflected in your shipping cost on the invoice.  Please pay invoice within two days of being received.
