    GENERAL TELFORD TAYLOR (1908-98) REDACTED TYPED LETTER SIGNED,
    "Telford Taylor", 8 x 7.25,  on "Office of Chief of Counsel For War Crimes" letterhead, 16 September 1948, to Colonel J. L. Harbaugh, Jr.(promoted to Brig. General in 1949), Judge Adevocate, EUCOM Headquarters (Berlin, Germany),
    by the Army Intelligence Officer who lead the American Allied code breaking group at Bletchley Park; was Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II;
    an outspoken
    critic of Senator Joseph McCarthy
    in the 1950s, and similar criticism of U.S. actions during the
    Vietnam War
    in the 1960s and 1970s; author of many books, including a National Book Critics Circle Award for his 1979 book,
    Munich: The Price of Peace
    . In Part: "I enclose herewith a letter which has been written to me at the suggestion of Judge Parker, formerly judge of the IMT. As you will see, the letter relates to charges of a war crime committed against a particular American soldier...I have written to the [words redacted] that his letter has been referred to you...." This extremely rare-content letter which actually mentions a WWII war crime issue, and relates to
    all three of the major war crimes trial organizations
