The Bartles Sweney Oil Co of Peoria, Illinois was established in 1910 and included wholesale deliveries and an early "drive through" service station for personal automobiles.  After a few years Bartles sold his share of the company to the Sweney brothers and the company was renamed Sweney Gas and Oil Company.
This pocket mirror is a rare advertising item from that short lived company.  It was produced by the Parisian Novelty Co. of Chicago and is marked on the edge.  This mirror sold at Hale's Auction for 8 in March 2017.
Vintage item in good condition with minor wear and tarnish.  Please see photos.
