    Description

This framed piece is a personalized original drawing to Ole Hellekson on the occasion
of the twentieth anniversary of the publication/syndication of the comic strip "Hagar the Horrible".
Originally Chris Browne's father, Dik Browne, was the creator of the comic strip, but when he passed
away in 1989, his son Chris took over writing the comic strip.
This strip is celebrating the 20 years, from 1973 to 1993, with the final box thanking all
of Hagar's friends, with Hagar sleeping under a tree with lots of flowers.
Hagar is in over 1,800 newspapers.
    "
"I think Dad would be pleased".
    Chris's signature
appears on the inscription to his friend Ole, and also on the strip itself, in red pencil.
Included in the frame is one of Chris's personal envelopes, with his address in Sarasota, Florida.
The outside of the frame measures 18.5" by 14.5".
A great piece of Comic Strip history for your collection!
