    Description

    This beautiful trinket box was found in an abandoned storage unit.  It obviously meant something to someone but unfortunately the unit was foreclosed on.   The note that comes with the box describes a hope chest that was damaged in a flood in East Hartford.  (Connecticut??)  Someone took the wood that wasn't damaged from the flood and made trinket boxes for the Mom who owned the hope chest and each of her daughters.  What a heart warming story from the person that handmade each of the boxes.  The box is absolutely beautiful with two tone wood and gold hinges and clasp.  The feet on the bottom corners will have to be replaced, but other than that the box is in great condition.  Dimensions are 7" x 6" x 5" high.  Willing to combine shipping with other items purchased from me.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail box #4.
