This is a Lefton Trinket box in excellent condition. It is a 2-piece, heart shaped box with Cupid or an Angel sitting on top with his bow at his side and his arrows hanging from his back. Cupid has a cute face, curly brown hair, white and gold wings.
It has the original LEFTON Red and Gold sticker which indicates it was produced between 1953 and 1971 and stamped with its number 2818 on the bottom. The heart is 4 1/2"tall, 4" wide x 4” deep. It is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks. oThere are some tiny  paint chips at the end of some of his curls but that comes from wear and tear..
It would be a wonderful piece to HIDE an ENGAGEMENT RING in or to hold the WEDDING RINGS for the WEDDING! It would also make a perfect gift a Birthday, Mother’s Day and of course, Valentine’s Day!
