  • Condition: I recently acquired a number of parts that came with a 1969 Z28 that was purchased out of an estate. The car had been stored since the late 70s/early 80's and had a bunch of NOS parts stored with it that were meant for the build. The guy who bought the Camaro out of the estate was putting a LS engine in the car and was not concerned with originality. I bought the engine, transmission, and other parts from him and plan to list them here on Ebay. This came off the 1969 Z/28 engine mentioned above. The cover and pointer were bolted to the engine which was never started. The GM part number is 3991433 which is on the box as shown.     This is a awesome original GM timing cover and pointer for the high performance SBC engine with the 8 inch diameter balancer. This came off the 1969 Z/28 engine mentioned above. The cover and pointer were bolted to the engine which was never started. The pointer looks to have been 2 piece from the factory and the glue holding them together has failed after all these decades. This will be a quick epoxy fix. The GM part number is 3991433 which is on the box as shown. Please confirm your specific application.
