This auction is for an
ORIGINAL
factory GM crankshaft
deep groove
pulley for use with the small block (SBC) Chevrolet V-8 engines and equipped with a
SHORT
water pump (will not work on the long pump setup). This DEEP GROOVE pulley has 2 grooves & is marked 3858533 BJ with the 'GM' & small 's' stamp. This pulley is
correct
for the 1967 & 1968 Z28 Camaro w/ 302 Chevy; also correct for the L-79 327/350hp engine from 1965 thru 1968 which could be had in the Chevelle, Nova (Chevy II), & Corvette. Also correct in the Vette for 327 SHP from 1963 thru 1969 or the 1969 350/350hp engine - check your application to be sure.
The outer diameter is 6-3/4". Repro's are cheaper but not visually the same stamp! Even though this item still shows as available from GM it has a different #
stamped (19355269).
