Two Antique Intricately Carved Teak Indian Calcutta Boxes

Description

Two Antique Intricately Carved Indian Teak Boxes. One box measures 8 inches long by 4 1/2 wide by 1 5/8 inches high. The other measures 6 inches long by 5 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches high. Both boxes are in very good condition and have a beautiful aged patina. There is no major damage that I can see and the hinges are secure, work well and the lids close tightly.  On the back of the longer one there is an old paper label that says Indian Museum Calcutta. I believe they are carved from Teak wood. Please ask you have any questions.
