    Description

    Vintage Large Handmade Wooden Box with Hand Carved Top. Wonderful hand carved top featuring 3 large attractive flower blossoms. The lid is attached with two hinges at the back. There is a small lift handle on the front and the lid closes securely. Each of the 4 corners are dove tailed. I think the wood is probably mahogany, but I am not sure. It is sturdy box that weighs almost 4 pounds.
    There are a few slight scratches on the box, but it is still an attractive and serviceable box. The bottom has a paper bottom and part of the paper has been torn away exposing the wood.
    Box size is about 12”x9-1/2” and 4-1/2” tall. It would be a good box for papers, sewing items, or collectibles.
