    Description

    This is a very nice box with some age.
    The inlay is very nice pattern of roses set with a cool border on the bottom.
    The box measures 11" long, 7" deep and 3-1/4" high.
    There are no missing pieces of inlay.   There is some crazing or drying pieces of inlay but they are secure. The light wood of the background may be bamboo and explain some of the drying.  There are obvious signs of age on the outside, but really no appearance of use on the inside.
    I've applied a really good wax so the wood is well nourished.  It also gave me a chance to do a good inspection.  Everything is nice and solid.
    A nice piece.  I started collecting these, because my son is a carpenter.  I really respect the art involved and hope the buyer of this piece does as well.
