  • Condition: Rare Antique/Vintage Berry Bros & Rudd Cutty Sark Whisky Wooden Crate With Hinged Lid And Leather Pull. This crate has been clear coat shellacked at some point along it’s way to preserve it, which makes the wood appear darker in appearance. On side, crate reads “BC NEW YORK”, and the bottom reads, “The red stripe stamps required by section 5008, I.R.C. are affixed to the containers of distilled spirits in this case. Consisting of 12 bottles bearing stamps of 4-5 quart denomination. 2-40 gallons. Berry Bros & Rudd Ltd”. State Stamps Affixed." Crate is in good overall condition. The top hinges are a bit rusty. Measures approx. 17" wide by 9-1/2" inches tall and 12" deep.
